Retail Companies

This retail trade sector is composed of store retailers and non-store retailers that are engaged in the sale of products to end-user consumers. These businesses sell company’s products in small quantities by using different marketing strategies. For instance, retail stores use mass-media advertising to show the general public the features of products while non-store retailers use direct-response advertising. This sector is composed of many other subsectors: health and personal care stores, miscellaneous store retailers, clothing & accessories stores, furniture and furnishing stores, to name but a few. On the other hand, the US retail sector is composed of over 1 million establishments which generate yearly revenue of $4 trillion; the top retail companies generate the greater part of the revenue.
