The company is divided in three segments:
The Nacelles and Interiors Systems segment is in charge of the supply of nacelle, pylon and flight control surfaces. It also offers interior products used in the cargo, evacuation, lighting, propulsion and specialty seating systems. This section also offers a variety of customer service solutions.
The Actuation and Landing Systems segment supplies Landing Gear, Aircraft Wheels and Brakes, Actuation Systems and Engine Components.
Finally, the Electronic Systems segment provides Sensors and Integrated Systems, Engine Control and Electrical Power Systems and ISR Systems.
Goodrich Corporation has its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina; however, when it was founded in 1870 by Benjamin Franklin Goodrich, the main office was in Akron, Ohio. The first name that the company received was Goodrich, Tew & Co, but years later it was changed to B.F. Goodrich Company. The current name (Goodrich Corporation) was adopted in 2001.
