In 1998, another important technological company came into scene; Hewlett-Packard Co purchased EDS for $13.9 billion of American dollars. Since then, this big company changed its name to HP Company due to its strategic merger.

In the year of 2008, HP Company was consolidated as one of the best employers in the world with 139,000 job positions in almost 64 countries. In addition, this company was included in the prestigious Fortune 500 list in this same year.
